When a young boy transitions into a young man, two things frequently become an obsession for him: cars and women. Often times he has no idea how to ask a girl out on a date or behave in a relationship and he might think he knows how to turn his beater car into a fine ride, but does he? Enter AUTO ANGELS Where young men go for help on their wrecks and find their affairs overhauled in the process.

The Auto Angels are five sexy women mechanics: Blonde, Brunette, Redhead, Latina and African American. Each specializes in a particular area: motor repair, bodywork, interior, sound system, detailing. They have one week to ‘overhaul’ one young man by taking his rusty heap of a car and transforming it. It’s not only the car getting customized; it’s also the young man (whether he realizes it or not). Our sexy mechanics will use the automobile as a metaphor for women while trying to help the young man to ask a special girl out, save his relationship, or get a girl by an event deadline, such as a prom.

Each Angles walks the young man through the process she uses to transform the car, while giving him her insight on dating and relationships. This way the young man gets to learn not only about his car but how different women feel about relationships. The Angels and the young man “check-in” at various stages of the overhauling and express how they feel about the progress of the young man and the car.

At the end of the week we follow the young man as he goes on his date in his reconstructed car and his reconstructed attitude.

At its conclusion, he will sit down with the Angels, watch the footage of the date and they will “dish” how they felt it went and how he has grown over the last week. Emotions are key, along with the conflicts between the five different character mechanics. All coming from a strong different background; offering different forms of advice that the whole team may or may not agree with.

Auto Angels” is filmed on location, or in a set made to look like a garage set fully stocked with mechanic’s equipment. Male calendar posters, pink toolboxes, and fuzzy leopard print chairs vie for space with the top of the line mechanic’s equipment. The fridge is stocked with chai tea instead of beer, yogurt instead of ice cream. There are boards up that have the young man’s name and breakdown with improvement notes as they intervene with him on separate days. The ones that are successful are marked: MISSION COMPLETE…

There will also be fantastic opportunities for product placement with a completely natural feel: Goodyear tires, Prestone Radiator Fluid, DieHard
Batteries, etc.
